So today was our first Sunday that we have actually attended our own ward/congregation. It is kind of weird considering that it is a family ward. I have spent the last few years in a single's ward. The contrast in the meetings is crazy different, lol. :) In a singles ward the only interruptions to the silent meetings is the occasional sound of a forgotten cell phone going off, or the quiet clicking of a text message being written and sent. In the family ward there are screaming and squalling kids all during the services. Not that we mind, it is just different. :)
One thing I love is how friendly people are. They seem to be so welcoming and inviting. We had several couple come and say hello to us. It's nice to be in a ward where it feels so homey. :) I know I'm going to like it here in the Winder 1st Ward.
